The precision conditioning of NRCD and HRCC units maximize energy efficiency
HiRef has supplied rack coolers to one of the most important TV broadcasting service companies in Spain, providing reliable and efficient air conditioning to its server rooms.
To meet the customer's needs, HiRef selected NRCD and HRCC units, providing more than 1 MW of cooling capacity.
This choice was the result of a careful analysis of the space by the designer, who, with the support of HiRef subsidiary HG Solutions, was able to integrate District Cooling technology with the units, maximising energy efficiency and reducing the impact of environmental pollution.
These High Density Cooling units, strategically placed inside the rack cabinets, are the perfect solution for precision data center air conditioning. Unlike other solutions, these machines only cool specific, isolated zones, creating a 'cold aisle' from which the servers draw air for cooling, while hot air is drawn in from the hot aisle.
This configuration is called IN ROW and is extremely energy efficient because the hot and cold zones of the data centre remain separate and the air does not mix itself.
The HiRef units also simplify maintenance operations and allow easy collection of condensation because they are supplied as standard with hydrophilic treatment of the coils that prevents the leakage of droplets inside and outside the unit. Finally, the presence of probes allows the workload of the cooler racks to be optimised, making them extremely easy to manage.
The key to success lies in collaboration.
Collaboration is indeed the key element for success in this industry. Constant dialogue with customers makes it possible to fully understand their specific requirements and to develop targeted technology solutions that meet these requirements. HiRef, with the cooperation of its Spanish subsidiary HG Solutions, provided comprehensive support at all stages of the project, ensuring total serenity for the customer.
