This year, the Costa d'Orlando group sees the inauguration of the Seaside hotel: an important milestone, confirming the quality of the service provided and further consolidation in the Sicilian tourist market.
HiRef was chosen to air-condition the hotel, which, located in the municipality of Capo d'Orlando just a few metres from the sea, is already a reference point for many tourists.

THE CHALLENGE

Keeping promises of quality and safety to its customers, even in the new facility, was the top priority throughout the planning of the installation.
Being so close to the sea, there are climatic events that can alter the reliability of outdoor installations. The main challenge, therefore, was to ensure the units' resistance to wind, which can carry corrosive agents such as saltiness into the air.

THE SOLUTION

HiRef proposed two MHA062HL Air/Water heat pumps that guarantee safety and reliability in all working conditions. The two units are equipped with a robust frame that can withstand the weather and the wear and tear of time. In addition, a double coat of paint has been applied to the finned coils, which minimises the possibility of corrosion and provides additional strength to the system.

Reduced running costs and maximum comfort for hotel guests

The presence of BLDC Inverter compressors allows the output and rotational speed of the compressors to be adjusted to achieve maximum energy efficiency. This greatly reduces running costs and gives the possibility of adjusting the units' parameters according to different seasonal needs. Lastly, the customer chose to configure the MHAs with the Low Noise set-up, which provides for the management of the noisiest components positioned inside a special box lined with sound-absorbing material. This allows for maximum acoustic comfort, which is a primary requirement in hotel contexts.

THE RESULT

HiRef's constant support at all stages of the project made it possible to create a system that meets the comfort requirements of tourists with those of the hotel. In this way, it is possible to enjoy an efficient and comfortable structure, a stone's throw from the sea, which maintains the Costa d'Orlando group's high quality standards.
