A renowned television studio in Milan has chosen HiRef to optimise the climatic comfort of its TV production rooms. The challenge that HiRef was able to meet was the request to air-condition rooms with different thermal requirements in order to guarantee maximum comfort in a single solution. Some rooms, in fact, require heating while others, with simultaneous demand, require cooling.

HiRef has made a careful choice, opting for the MPL multi-purpose heat pump, which stands out for its shell and tube heat exchanger and use of the environmentally friendly refrigerant R454B. This solution not only guarantees high thermodynamic efficiencies but also helps to reduce environmental impact. The compressors, featuring EVI technology, provide hot water up to 60°C through the introduction of refrigerant, transformed into steam, halfway through the compression process, guaranteeing the thermodynamic performance required by the customer.

Thermal and acoustic performance!

Considering the unit's location close to recording studios, special attention was paid to noise management. Despite its imposing size and the presence of as many as eight fans, the unit's noise level is minimal. In fact, the MPL has been specially configured in Super Low Noise mode to ensure maximum acoustic performance. This advanced configuration has been adopted with the aim of ensuring significantly reduced noise levels, thus helping to maintain a quiet and comfortable environment.
