A well-established company based in the Veneto region and operating in the book printing industry requested an urgent intervention for the supply of a Data Center air conditioner, following a sudden rise in temperature in one of its server rooms. The issue was caused by an unexpected thermal load, exceeding the values estimated during the design phase of the room.

The Solution
The unit installed is a perimeter direct expansion air conditioner with displacement air distribution from the NRG A range. The installed model can deliver up to 25 kW of cooling capacity and, thanks to the inverter-driven modulating compressor, it precisely adapts to thermal load variations at any time. It also comes standard with electronically commutated (EC) fans and an electronic expansion valve—features that make it a highly efficient and reliable solution.
The unit was readily available among those that HiRef prepares each year to handle emergency situations. Additionally, the collaboration with the local Authorized Technical Center (CAT) was key to ensuring flawless management of the intervention: in less than two days, the air conditioner was successfully installed and commissioned, restoring the server room to optimal temperature conditions and protecting the new processor from overheating damage.
