HiRef achieves certification for gender equality
Year: 2025
An achievement that reinforces our commitment to inclusion, equity, and talent enhancement
We have obtained the UNI/PdR 125:2022 Gender Equality Certification, becoming one of the first companies in our sector to achieve this important milestone.
The process, launched in October 2024 and successfully completed in September 2025 under the supervision of the certification body Itec, represents a concrete step forward in our commitment to promoting equal opportunities, inclusion, and talent development throughout every stage of corporate life.
“This achievement demonstrates HiRef’s commitment to consolidating a model based on respect and the appreciation of people,” says Elena Brandolisio, CFO of HiRef, member of the Board of Directors and of the Steering Committee for the certification.
“We believe that fairness, transparency, and participation are the foundations of a work environment capable of generating innovation and well-being. With this certification, we have recognized and strengthened a commitment that has always been part of HiRef’s culture.”
Throughout the certification process, we introduced concrete actions to improve recruitment, hiring, and professional development processes, ensuring fairness and transparency from the very first stages.
We also implemented new procedures for career management and internal mobility, supported by training programs aimed at fostering a culture of inclusion and enhancing female leadership already present within the company.
“The gender equality certification is the result of a shared process that involved everyone at HiRef,” adds Pastora Macias Alzola, HR Generalist and member of the Steering Committee.
“Inclusion, collaboration, and listening are not just ethical principles, but key drivers for the company’s growth.”
As part of the project, we also strengthened our whistleblowing channel, enhancing the listening and protection tools available to all employees.
With this recognition, we consolidate our social sustainability strategy, integrating gender equality among the pillars of our development model and confirming our position as a forward-thinking company — not only from a technological standpoint, but also from a human and cultural perspective.
